Classroom Bingo - "Find someone who..."

Classroom bingo is designed to support your students to get out of their seats, move around the classroom, and learn more about their classmates.

Students ask each other if they meet the criteria, and if so, the students initial the box.

How to Play Classroom Bingo

Classroom bingo is a great icebreaker game for the start of the school year. Help your class get to know one another by having them complete this activity.

  1. At the start of the class, hand out a classroom bingo sheet to each student.
  2. When you say “go,” tell the class to begin playing.
  3. Each student has their own bingo sheet and needs to find somebody who matches the criteria of each box, writing their initials in the box.
  4. Encourage students to find a different classmate for every box so they can learn something new about everyone.
  5. Whoever fills out their entire sheet first, wins!
  6. Once a student has claimed to win, go through the classroom bingo sheet all together so you can check that each student is in the right box. Ask your students about their answers. This will help you to also learn fun facts about your students
  7. Give the winner a small prize, such as a sticker or piece of candy.
