These Christmas student choice math activities for elementary students are perfect for the countdown to Christmas in your classroom!
They are great as extension or early-finisher activities, for use in a math center, or given as take-home independent practice work.
This packet includes a choice board of 9 Christmas activities, plus all of the links and printables needed to complete the activities.
Students can choose from activities like:
Fraction Snowmen
Create snowmen of different heights using Fraction Circles. Label each part of the fraction circle, cut it, and glue it to construction paper. Make sure to add coal eyes/mouth, stick arms, and a carrot nose! How many WHOLES did you use to make each snowman?
Christmas Tessellations
Choose one of the Christmas shapes, color the shapes, then cut them, and paste to make a tessellation. Remember - no gaps or overlaps!
Stocking Gift Bar Graph
Talk to your peers and collect data on what stocking gift they would prefer: chocolate, yo-yo, socks, taffy, or a small toy. Then create a bar graph with the data you collected. What stocking gift was most popular? Least popular?
