Adapt
Adapt
Once students have finished their timelines of their up-to-date lives, have them add major events for the next 25 years of their lives! They can use this printable as a way to generate inspiration and ideas. Encourage creativity and reflection. Have students save a separate version of the presentation that includes their future.
Solve
Put a spin on the timeline concept by having students create a simple reverse timeline for a particular event. Allow them to choose something from their own lives or a historical event, and encourage them to “start with the end in mind” and construct a realistic timeline of activities that lead to the culminating event. Examples include planning a party, first day in college or on a new job, adopting a pet, building a model, etc.
