As the year progresses, it's easy for students to forget a classroom rule or two. Periodically review the rules and procedures of your classroom to help them stay on track and avoid annoying classroom distractions.

Transcript:

One way to help those annoying classroom distractions are to make sure you not only talk to your students about the rules and procedures of your classroom at the very beginning of the year but that you make sure to mention this after any vacation, after a long weekend, even just midway through the year just to remind them “Hey, we have all this stuff on the board! it’s not just wallpaper!” It’s really important that we’re still following these rules and making sure that we all know what’s going on in the classroom and what we should be doing.
