This resource is designed to be used with the Meet the Planets Mini-Lesson. It includes the slides and teaching notes for the presentation portion of the lesson. This resource can be used as a teaching guide in conjunction with the Meet the Planets PowerPoint slideshow, or can be printed out and distributed to students as an accompaniment to in-class presentation of the slides. The teaching notes include explanations of the concepts covered in each slide, and facts about the planets, solar system, and space exploration. If desired, either the slides or the complete package can be distributed to students as reference and/or independent study.
