This activity from Breathe for Change introduces students to the Peace Process, a four-step process that helps students communicate effectively and address any conflicts that they are experiencing in their relationships. The purpose of the activity is to release tension, foster effective communication, and resolve conflicts. Through this activity students are working on self-management and responsible decision making. First, students state the facts (what happened). Second, students express how what happened made them feel using feeling words. Then, students share what they needed that they didn't receive. Finally, students make a request for what would make the relationship feel better.
