Old South Meeting House
Built in 1729, this is the second oldest meeting house in Boston. Phillis Wheatley, the first published African-American poetess, was a member of the congregation in the late 1700s. Other famous members include Ben Franklin, who was baptized in this meeting house. Also, it was where the organization for the Boston Tea Party took place. Located at 310 Washington Street.
