Blooming Tree

Objectives
Students will read more.
Materials
- Construction paper
- Markers
- Tape or glue
Procedure
- Students draw and cut a tree out of the construction paper. The tree should have many branches and be large.
- Students cut many leaves. You could have each student decide how many books he or she will read and make that many leaves.
- Each time a student finishes a book, have the student write the name of the completed book and his or her name on the leaf.
- Tape the leaf to one of the tree branches.
